Homeless Mother of Triplet Appeal for Financial Assistance

Mrs.Faith Nwagu,a mother of triplet was a fashion designer specializes in unisex before the recent Ukelle/Igbeagu interboundary crisis robbed her source of livelihood and seek for financial assistance to save her of possible breast cancer.
The Ukelle of Yala LGA, Cross River State and Igbeagu community, Izzi LGA Ebonyi State was faced with inter boundary war that claimed many lives, property worth billions of naira destroyed, markets and schools closed down.
Current News24 reporter who visited the mother of the triplet learnt that the family was badly affected by the crisis as they lost their home which was razed down by Ukelle war lords and since has been taken refuge at IDPS camp in Ndiebor Oferekpe Igbeagu,Izzi where these children were peacefully delivered.
The mother of the children told us that she delivered peacefully but the blessing of the children which suppose to bring joy tripled their hardship, coupled with the breasts pain which according to her feared what may be behind the pain.
She explained that she has visited various hospitals including Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki,where she was given drugs but her condition worsen.
She further said that due to their financial situation has resort to herbs which have not improved her health.
Speaking with Mr.Nwagu Cosmas, father of the triplet narrated to us that he lost his provision shop to the crisis and now survive through menial job as he works as apprentice at a capentry workshop.
Current News24 gathered that the family has been surviving through the donations from relatives (also affected by the crisis) and well wishers been that they were unable to save even a pin from their razed home.
The village head Ndiebor Oferekpe Mr Stephen Akpagu urged the State government,Cooperate organizations,NGOs, and good spirited individuals to come to the rescue of the children as the family was unable to save even a piece of cloth when they home was razed down.
He appealed to National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Ebonyi State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to come to aid of those affected by the communal crisis as many are living without zinc to cover their roof as they have been directed to return back to their homes as a measure to check the peace move of both stakeholders of the two states.
