Just In: NNPP Elects New Leadership In Ebonyi

--Vows to take retire APC, PDP By Agbo Amuche, Abakaliki The New Nigeria People's Party,( NNPP) on Tuesday swored-in Ebonyi State party chairman, Hon Chukwu Solomon Monday and his executives. However, the party also inaugurated its executive members of the thirteen Local Government Areas and I71 wards in the state through consensus to pilot the affairs of the party. The new executives emerged during the congress of the party in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital. Addressing journalists shorty after the congress, the chairman state congress committee, Alhaji Kabiru Getso Haruna, said the election was conducted in conducive atmosphere, devoid of rancour, bitterness and acrimony, describing it as the most peaceful exercise ever in the State. This was contained in a press statement signed by Ogaba Godwin and Isih Martins who are Chairman and Secretary of Effium Indigenous Vanguard, accused top and influential Ezza stakeholders of sheilding the truth about ongoing pogrom in Effium by Ezza warlords and their hired mercinaries.
