Group Condems Umahi Residence Invasion

Social cultural group who are entertainers of Ebonyi State indigenes known as Ndi Ebonyi Peace Ambassadors Initiative,(NEPAI) on Thursday 20 September,2019 condemned in its entirety the recent Invasion of the Abuja residence of Ebonyi State governor,Engr. Chief David Umahi.
Addressing journalists shortly
after the executive meeting in Abakaliki, the state Director and initiator of the group Comrade Stanley Nwataetogo noted that the invasion was babaric stressing that if mr.president did not interfere in the said issue would be a big blow on democracy.
The founder of the group faulted the silence of the Inspector General of Police over the contending issue and slow in the arrest of those involved in the said invasion.
He emphasized that the attack on the governor was attack on the entire people of south east and charged the police Boss to take immediate action.
The group leader commended governor Umahi in his recent appointment for giving youths chance to participate in the leadership of the developing state and described the decision as a character of a true leader, and called those appointed not to fail the governor
Mr.Nwataetogo further appreciated the state governor Engr.David Umahi for changing the face of Abakaliki capital city which he said was comparable to Dubai especially on its state-of-the-art of the urban.
He maintained optimistic that the state capital would soon attract movie producers who would help harness talented Ebonyians who would like to venture into acting and called the people of the state to project the state in social media to attract investors as the state has become the fastest developing urban in the country.
He called movie producers to take advantage of Abakaliki capital city as their movie shooting location being that the city has beaten many of the major location for the business with it's beauty.
He urged the people of the state to continue supporting the policies of the ruling government to enable them benefit from the effort of the governor to make the state number one economy leading state in the country.
He,also, advocated for Peace in all parts of the state as he noted that it is only in peaceful environment that development is achieved, stressing that the best way to give support to the ruling government is to promote peace in all cornerst of the state.
He, however, cautioned youth against cultism and drug related life style which according to him is a silent killer disease, charging youth to engage in meaningful ventures as to contribute to the national development.
