Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor, for bridging the council code of conduct.
This was made known to our reporter shortly after their official meeting in Abakaliki, the state capital.
However, the National President High Chief Peter Ameh has maintained that the council recognized Hon.Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor as it's State Chairman prior to the forthcoming election.
The National President disclosed this to our reporter during phone conversation noting that until election is conducted in Ebonyi State Hon. Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor remains the state Chairman.
He faulted some members action who for their selfish interest want to destabilize the peace the council is enjoying in the state and called those fueling division among them to retrace their steps as Hon Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor's tenure has not elapsed according to their constitution.
The National President Inter-Party Advisory Council, High Chief Ameh, pointed out that the council's State election coming up on November would determine whether the incumbent Chairman would be removed or not and not on hearsay.
Meanwhile, the acting Chairman Chief Dr. Lazarus Nwachukwu, said the decision was taken following the Council constitution as clearly stated in chapter 4 A,1 IPAC of the revised Code of Conduct 2018 that once any member of the body accept political position at all level of government seaze to be their member.
He pointed out that after their meeting through which Deputy Inspector General of Police intervened at police officers mess and instructed them to reconcile their differences and work together with the Nigeria Police force to enthrone peace that the council has been maintaining unity and the state chairman removal was to ensuring the council act accordingly.
His words" The chairman was basically removed based on the council constitution in Chapter 4 A,1 of the revised code of conduct 2018, which clearly stated that once a member of IPAC received political appointment that the person seaze to be a member of the council which Hon.Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor has being appointed as Special Assistant to the governor on Inter-Party Advisory Council and Labour Relation" he explained.
The State chairman Zenith Labour Party, Hon. Obiya Sabastine described the council's action as constitutional,stating that Dr. Nwachukwu has replaced the chairman until their November election where new Chairman would be elected.
Hon. Splendor Eze, former gubernatorial Candidate in recently governorship election and state Chairman Advance Congress of Democrat, ACD, hinted that the code of conduct as guilding principle to the council's national body was put to use in their action and not intended to discredit the alleged former Chairman but to enable her focus on the given job.
He assured the acting Chairman of members support and advised Hon Nwafor to visit the Federal High Court if not certified as suit has been filled against her as regards to the activity.
The guber candidate called the state governor not to allow himself to be dragged into the issue as the former Chairman boast of using her influence to remain in the position against council's constitution.
Hon. Sunday Nkwuda, the council Financial Secretary and Chief Ricky Okoro Uka, All Progressive Grand Alliance,APGA, state chairman and union treasurer called the state governor to work with the acting Chairman in any issue involving the opposition party leaders and urged Dr. Nwachukwu to run all inclusive government to enable them achieve their set objective in the state.
The Inter Party Advisory Council State Chairman who doubles as Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Inter-Party and Labour Relation,Hon.Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor when contacted debunked the alleged removal, stressing that the union is one and united.
Hon. Adibe-Nwafor further stated that those who are parading themselves as new executive are erring members of the organization who are on suspenction but revealed that investigation Committee has been set up when they learnt that the group has been having secret meetings to destabilize their November election.
The Special Assistant called the general public to disregard the group as they are suspended members who are trying to gain self pity, urging members to remain steadfast until the investigation Committee come up with their findings.

Those carrying rumour of my removal are rather not our members because they are on suspension.
"IPAC is one and united and to prove that, we had meeting last week which over fourty members were present except those who are on suspension and now parading themselves carrying secret meetings which is unconstitutional but we have set up an investigation committee that we will soon meet to get their report before further action.
"I challenge them to host the meeting at our Secretariat if they real claim who they are.
"However, I call the general public to disregard them while I advise those behind the mask to know that the approach is not the best rather should go buy form if they are interested in any of the positions.
