My Bursary Payment Has No Political Attachment -Ohaukwu Council Boss

The Ohaukwu Local Government  Chairman, Barrister Clement Omekannaya Odah, yesterday Dulles out cash worth 10 million naira to the ohaukwu  indigenous students aimed to support their accademics career.

The Council boss why addressing journalsts at Ohaukwu headquarters 135 Ezzangbo,maintained that the bursary payment does not attached to any political motivation, noting that it was out of his willingness to assist parents to reduce burden involved in paying school fees of their children who many are finding it difficult to pay various fees in course of their academic pursuit.

  Barr.Odah Advised beneficiaries students to judiciously use the money to do the needful and avoid the unnecessary spending of it so that the intention for which it was given would be achieved
.
He equally pointed out that his bursary payment is not political , and maintained that the factor which made him local government chairman was outside burary payment, therefore, by 2020 when election would come ,the factor will surelly be prevailed.

 The chairman, however, state that in Ohaukwu, 1,500 voters registered  and he said 1,200 Students have received the bursary, so wether students voted or not he would still emerged.

Others who spoke during the event, among the Coordinator Effium Development Centre Hon.Agbo Sunday, in his speech, thanked the Council boss for the bursary  payment to the entire Ohaukwu students and urged him to continue the good gesture, and discribed the chairman as replica of Governor Umahi and God sent to ohaukwu people, even as he charged beneficiaries to esure the proper use of the money. 

The event was attented by some commissioners , Special Assistant  to the Governor on student affairs Hon. Gideon Onwe, Leader of Ohaukwu legislative Council Hon. John Awam ,Vice Chairman Ohaukwu Local Government Hon. mrs Chinenye , Coordinator Ohaukwu Development Centre, Hon. Ejikeme Chibueze Agbo, SA to Ohaukwu Local Chairman Hon.Ali Emmanuel (Ibeto) among others.

  Some of the beneficiaries include Nwede Chukwuemeka , Nwafor Chika among others thank the chairman .
