Women Inclusion in Ebonyi Govt Have Attract Rapid Development,Says Council Chairman

The Council Chairman Ebonyi local Government,Hon. Chinyere Nwogbaga on Saturday 22nd February,2020 described the impact of women in Umahi led administration as the greatest beauty of the ruling government.
Hon. Nwogbaga stated this shortly after the official receiving of Validity Form from INEC observers,declaring her return for second tenure of office as the winner for the primaries election held at Ugbodo, the council headquarters.
According to the council Chairman, she noted that the Councillorship and Chairmanship elections were peaceful as a result of the understanding existing between the stakeholders and the people.
Hon. Nwogbaga pointed out that as a woman holding a reputable position of Chairman, always try her best not to make any mistake that would tarnish the good Image of women folks in leadership, attributing the inclusion of women into the government of Umahi as one of the pillars behind the rapid development in the state.
She promised to ensure the people of Ebonyi local government enjoy the dividend of democracy by stepping down programme and policies of the state Governor to the grass root, which according to her would serve as road map for whoever to succeed her to live in the path of honour.
In a similar vein, Hon.Paul James Nwogha, Chairman Izzi Local Government Area, said his winning the Chairmanship primaries election was a demonstration of love from his people.
He noted that while he channeled his first term in office majorly on infrastructure and other people oriented projects that he would ensure that his return would be focused mainly on education and health,by providing enabling environment where education would thrive as the people benefit from the health programmes and policies of the state government.
The Ohaukwu counterpart,Hon.Omekannaya Odah, commended the people for standing for him by voting massively and supporting his second time ambition, assuring the people of more people oriented projects.
In an interview,Hon.Anthony Nwegede, Member Representing Izzi East constituency,Chief.Peter Iteshi,former Council Chairman and Hon.Okechukwu Ukpa, Chairman Paul Nwogha, support group,described the nomination of Hon.Paul Nwogha as a result of his style of open policy government and advised other successful nominated chairmen to continue leading with the fear of God.
