Party Primaries: Group protests, accuses Anyim of plan to destroy PDP in Ebonyi
By Alo David, Abakaliki Concern political pressure group, Ebonyi Mandate, have raised alarm calling on national and state leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to rescue the party from imminent collapse in Ebonyi State. They urged the party leaders in the State to bury their hatchets, conduct primaries and move the party forward. A statement signed by the group’s leader, Mr. Uzor’oma Gabriel N. reads: “The unnecessary crisis rocking PDP Ebonyi state because of power play has now reached a point of no return as today seems like their last chance to hold any primary election, as per notices sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for that purpose.
