Ebonyi Herbalist Backs Umahi on Fight Against Covid-19

The umbrella body of trado medicine, National Association of Nigerian Traditional Medicine Practitioners Ebonyi State Chapter Chairman,Chief (Amb.) Augustine Ekechi on Thursday 9 April,2020 has reiterated the union readiness on fight against the pandemic Corona virus.
The Traditional Medicine Practitioner disclosed this to Newsmen in his country home at Edeachara Nkaleke Community, Ebonyi Local Government Area of the state, noting that the union has prepared spiritually to wage war against the Scourge.
Ambassador Ekechi noted that the global disease outbreak has deeply challenged Traditional Medicine Practitioners to embark more on research to prove potency of Africa herbs while advising Federal government to give trial to already made local herbs the producers claimed have solution to the dreaded disease.
He maintained that adopting fully the world Health Organization's guildlines remains the most crucial steps the people should abide by as they await Practitioners globally to give them permanent solution to the sickness.
The State Chairman commended Governor Umahi for the proactive measures introduced in the state and urged the Public to adhere to the directives.
He encouraged members Practitioner to maintain personal hygiene as the best therapy to curtail the disease spread, praying that the state would remain free once all government directives are observed.
